Details of the Job/Internship
Vivriti Asset Management is hiring an Associate Legal Counsel to support legal structuring, provide timely legal advice, and manage corporate legal activities across the organisation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence from the lender’s perspective, including contract review, borrowing document assessment, and title search reports.
- Research filings on the MCA portal and review charge-related records.
- Identify legal risks and prepare diligence summaries.
- Draft and negotiate debenture documentation and structured credit instruments.
- Assist with security creation documentation and legal advisory.
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer with 2–4 years of experience in a law firm or legal department of an asset management company, NBFC, or bank.
- Working knowledge of Alternative Investment Funds.
- Understanding of credit products, loans, and debentures.
- Strong research, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
