Details of the Job/Internship
YourTribe is hiring a Legal Counsel with 2–4 years of experience to join its growing legal team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including SaaS agreements, MSAs, licensing, data-sharing, and NDAs.
- Support compliance initiatives under data protection laws such as DPDP, GDPR, and CCPA.
- Contribute to internal compliance systems, IP protection, and risk management frameworks.
- Coordinate with external counsels, regulators, and internal stakeholders as needed.
- Maintain and improve internal templates, trackers, and clause libraries.
- Provide legal insights during product development and client onboarding.
- Stay updated on evolving regulatory trends and proactively inform internal teams.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree (LL.M. or certifications in data privacy or fintech preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel in TMT, fintech, or general corporate practice.
- Strong legal drafting, review, and negotiation skills.
- Understanding of software licensing, technology transfers, and data privacy laws.
- Excellent communication and ability to simplify legal concepts for non-legal stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently.
