Details of the Job/Internship

YourTribe is hiring a Legal Counsel with 2–4 years of experience to handle end-to-end legal matters, including client negotiations, IP protection, risk management, and data privacy compliance.

Role and Responsibilities

• Review, draft, negotiate, and vet commercial agreements including SaaS, licensing, data sharing, MSAs, and NDAs.
• Support compliance with data protection laws such as DPDP, GDPR, and CCPA.
• Contribute to internal compliance, IP protection, and risk management frameworks.
• Liaise with external counsels, partners, and regulators as required.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and inform internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain internal legal processes, templates, and clause banks.
• Provide legal inputs during product development and client onboarding.

Eligibility

• 2–4 years of experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel (TMT, Fintech, or General Corporate).
• LL.B. required; LL.M. or certifications in data privacy/fintech are a plus.
• Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of software licensing, technology transfers, and data privacy.
• Clear and confident communication, able to simplify legal concepts for non-legal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple legal matters independently.

Salary/Stipend
