Details of the Job/Internship
Treez Enterprise is hiring an Associate – Legal Tech with a minimum of 2 years of experience to support legal operations across its AI-based product ecosystem.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policies, and compliance documents for apps.
- Ensure compliance with IT Act 2000, IT Rules 2021, DPDP Act 2023, and GDPR-style guidelines.
- Review product features for legal risks and propose compliant alternatives.
- Implement AI transparency, risk monitoring, and safety frameworks.
- Review AI models for bias, privacy, output safety, and API restrictions.
- Draft and manage vendor agreements, commission agreements, investor agreements, NDAs, SLAs, and partnership contracts.
- Support incorporation documentation and IP filing.
- Coordinate statutory compliance processes such as GST and ROC timelines.
- Review apps for legal risks and flag non-compliant API usage.
- Track global AI laws and recommend updates to internal AI policies.
- Create internal legal SOPs, checklists, and risk dashboards.
- Maintain contract repositories and documentation workflows
Eligibility
- LLB or LLM degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in legal technology.
- Knowledge of IT laws, data privacy, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Experience drafting technology-related agreements.
- Understanding of API and platform policies.
- Strong research and documentation skills.
- Background in AI product compliance or startup legal processes is an advantage.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check.
