Role and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring they align with corporate interests and legal requirements.
- Lead and manage corporate litigation matters, including preparation for trials and handling disputes, to protect the company's rights and interests.
- Provide legal support and guidance on venture capital transactions, including due diligence, structuring deals, and negotiating terms.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to develop legal strategies and resolve issues efficiently.
- Stay abreast of legal developments affecting the venture capital and private equity industry, advising on legal risks and opportunities.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of internal governance policies, ensuring compliance with the latest legal regulations.
- Offer comprehensive legal support in various domains, including intellectual property, employment law, and corporate governance.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Integrity and ethical standards management.
- Critical thinking in developing solutions within legal frameworks.
- Management of conflicts of interest and ensuring ethical decision-making.
- Handling sensitive information and protecting against data breaches.

Eligibility
Qualifications:
- LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from a recognized university.
- Proven experience in legal roles, with a strong foundation in corporate law, contract law, and litigation. Experience in venture capital transactions is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- In-depth understanding of the legal framework governing venture capital and private equity investments.
Salary/Stipend
The CTC is ₹18 lakhs, with ₹15 lakhs paid monthly over 12 months and a ₹3 lakh annual retention bonus awarded at the end of the 12-month period. A performance bonus is available for those demonstrating superior performance. Eligibility for participation in the Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) and carry pool after 24 months of service.
