Details of the Job/Internship

The Reward Store (A Vananam Company) is hiring an Associate, Legal with 2–3 years of experience to join its office in Bengaluru. The role involves supporting business operations through contract vetting and negotiation, compliance management, stakeholder coordination, and assisting the Senior Lawyer on legal risk and regulatory matters.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, vetting, and negotiating commercial contracts, including service agreements, NDAs, and vendor contracts.
• Ensuring compliance of legal documentation with internal policies and applicable statutory requirements, including KYC records.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors on contract-related matters.
• Preparing weekly legal status reports, contract trackers, and compliance updates for management review.
• Supporting the Senior Lawyer in legal research, risk assessment, compliance advisory, and addressing legal issues arising from business growth.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree is mandatory.
• 2–3 years of post-qualification experience in commercial contract drafting, vetting, and negotiation.
• Proven experience in drafting and vetting commercial contracts.
• Strong ability to identify legal and commercial risks in business transactions.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Prior experience in an in-house legal team or corporate law firm is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership.

Salary/Stipend
