Details of the Job/Internship
DM Legal is hiring an Associate – Litigation and Non-Litigation with 3+ years of experience to join their Fort and Borivali offices in Mumbai. The role involves handling both litigation and real estate transactional matters, including civil, commercial, and real estate disputes.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle civil, commercial, and real estate litigation before High Courts, Tribunals, and other forums.
- Manage arbitration, debt recovery, and insolvency matters (IBC & NCLT).
- Draft and vet development agreements, JVs, MOUs, conveyances, lease deeds, and POAs.
- Conduct title due diligence and prepare detailed title reports for land and property transactions.
- Provide non-litigation advisory services, document drafting, and client coordination.
Eligibility
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in litigation and real estate transactions.
- Prior law firm experience in real estate or litigation preferred.
- Strong drafting, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage inter-office travel between Fort and Borivali offices.
