Ajay Gaind & Co. is seeking an Associate-level lawyer with 2-4 years of experience to join their Projects & Construction practice with a focus on construction disputes, litigation, and arbitration in their New Delhi office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist Partners and senior team members on complex, large-scale construction disputes and arbitration matters.
- Independently manage a caseload of contentious and non-contentious matters.
- Draft pleadings, submissions, advisory notes, and client correspondence.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and provide analytical support.
- Participate in client meetings, hearings, and arbitrations.
- Support business development initiatives, including client pitches, seminars, and publications.
Eligibility
- 2–4 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in litigation and arbitration, ideally with a focus on construction and infrastructure disputes.
- Law degree with strong academic credentials; qualified to practice in India.
- Experience in commercial litigation, mediation, adjudication, and arbitration.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and research skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in client interactions and networking.
Salary/Stipend
