Details of the Job/Internship
Lexansh & Co. is hiring for the position of Associate Litigation –Direct and Indirect Taxation with 1-2 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in handling litigation matters relating to finance, income tax, and GST.
- Draft and review pleadings, replies, legal notices, and legal opinions.
- Represent clients before various judicial and quasi-judicial bodies, including Tribunals, High Courts, and tax authorities.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare case briefs and summaries.
- Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and external counsel to ensure timely case updates and filings.
- Maintain meticulous records of case files, documentation, hearing schedules, and filings.
- Stay updated with relevant legal and regulatory changes in the domain of finance and tax laws.
Eligibility
- LL.B., MBA (Finance), B.Com., or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in litigation, preferably with a focus on taxation and finance.
