Details of the Job/Internship
INDIALAW LLP is hiring an Associate – Litigation Lawyer with 2 years of post-qualification experience to join its office in Bengaluru. The role offers the opportunity to handle litigation across multiple domains, manage client relationships, and contribute to the firm’s dispute resolution practice.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle litigation across commercial, insolvency, consumer, and matrimonial matters before courts and tribunals.
- Provide strategic legal advice and develop case strategies.
- Draft and review pleadings, petitions, written submissions, and other legal documents.
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships through effective communication.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members.
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments.
- Represent clients in hearings, arbitrations, and mediations, and liaise with external counsels when required.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized law school; LL.M. is an advantage.
- 2 years of post-qualification experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
- Expertise in insolvency, commercial contracts, consumer protection laws, and matrimonial disputes.
- Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently and work under tight deadlines.
- Experience in mentoring or team leadership is desirable.
