IndiaLaw LLP is hiring an Associate – Litigation Lawyer with 2 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. This role offers exposure to commercial litigation, insolvency and bankruptcy (IBC), consumer disputes, matrimonial litigation, and dispute resolution.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle litigation matters across commercial, insolvency, consumer, and matrimonial domains before various courts and tribunals.
- Provide strategic legal counsel and develop case strategies.
- Draft and review pleadings, petitions, written submissions, and other legal documentation.
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members.
- Stay updated on legal developments and regulatory changes.
- Represent clients in hearings, arbitrations, and mediations, and liaise with external counsels when required.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized law school; LL.M. is a plus.
- 2 years of post-qualification experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
- Expertise in IBC, commercial contracts, consumer protection laws, and matrimonial disputes.
- Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently and work under tight deadlines.
- Experience in team leadership or mentoring is desirable.
Salary/Stipend
