Details of the Job/Internship
Kar & Associates is hiring an Associate – Litigation (Civil, Real Estate & Matrimonial Law) with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join their office in Kolkata, West Bengal.
Role and Responsibilities
- Represent clients in civil, real estate, and matrimonial litigation.
- Draft and review pleadings, petitions, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Appear before courts, tribunals, and other authorities as required.
- Manage client relationships with professionalism and discretion.
- Conduct legal research and provide well-reasoned opinions.
- Maintain organized case files and ensure timely follow-up on all matters.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3 years of experience handling civil, real estate, and matrimonial matters.
- Licensed to practice law in India.
- Cleared the All India Bar Examination (AIBE).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Bengali & English.
