Details of the Job/Internship

Khare Legal Chambers - India is hiring an Associate – Litigation with a Bachelor's degree in Law to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support complex litigation matters.
• Draft and file various legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Assist in the preparation and conduct of depositions and witness testimonies.
• Attend court proceedings and represent client interests during hearings.
• Provide strategic legal advice to a diverse range of clients to mitigate risks.
• Contribute to comprehensive case preparation, including document discovery and trial strategy.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the litigation lifecycle.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or an equivalent qualification.
• Preferred: Active membership with the Bar Council of India.
• Strong foundational knowledge of legal concepts and litigation procedures.
• Proficiency in drafting motions and conducting specialized legal research.
• Familiarity with the rules and regulatory processes of Indian courts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple case deadlines effectively.
