Navi is hiring a Legal Counsel – Contracts & Compliance with 2–4 years of post-qualification experience to join its dynamic legal team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and analyze complex commercial contracts.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Operations, and Internal Audit teams to develop and update company policies.
- Advise HR and management on employment and labour law matters.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, senior management, external counsel, business partners, vendors, and regulators.
- Support cross-functional teams in addressing legal issues and business initiatives.
- Conduct legal research and provide advice on contracts, employment law, and compliance.
- Standardize and optimize processes for contract review, including automation.
Eligibility
- B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)/J.D./equivalent law degree from a recognized institution.
- 2–4 years of post-qualification experience in commercial contract management, corporate advisory, or M&A/PE/VC transactions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Independent working style with proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.
