Details of the Job/Internship

Navi is hiring for the position of Associate Manager II - Product Legal with 3-6 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Product Legal Advisory: Provide continuous legal advice to business, strategy, and product teams on new product launches, feature developments, and proposed changes to existing products.
• Jargon-Free Communication: Champion the simplification of all customer-facing legal documents, ensuring our "Let’s do away with Jargon!" approach is consistently applied.
• Regulatory Navigation: Guide business teams through the complex regulatory environments relevant to the financial sector, helping to assess and navigate their impact on our products.
• Contract Management: Draft, negotiate, and facilitate the execution of contracts primarily related to technology and product initiatives on behalf of the Navi Group.
• External Liaison: Effectively liaise with a diverse network of consultants, advisors, and external counsel to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Eligibility

• A Law degree from a recognized university.
• 3 to 6 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
• Strong first principles thinking – we value your ability to think critically and from the ground up.
• Exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work independently and make sound, considered decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Preferable Experience: Working with an NBFC, Fintech Company, or within a TMT (Technology, Media, Telecom) practice at a corporate law firm.
• The ability to work autonomously and exercise practical judgment.
