Evalueserve is hiring for the position of Associate Manager - Legal And Compliance with 8-12 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Commercial Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate global client agreements, including MSAs, partnership agreements, reseller agreements, and related documentation.
- Vendor Contracts: Handle contracts for purchase of goods and services, equipment leases, and subscription agreements.
- Real Estate Agreements: Draft and review lease, fit-out, and maintenance agreements.
- Technology Contracts: Manage agreements such as software licenses, content subscriptions, website terms & conditions, EULAs, and app terms of use.
- Employment/HR Support: Provide advisory support across jurisdictions (US, Europe, India) on matters including termination letters, settlement agreements, compliance with labour laws, and responses to legal notices.
- External Counsel Management: Coordinate with and manage external legal advisors.
- Compliance & Policy Frameworks: Develop, implement, and track compliance frameworks, policies, SOPs, and client compliance requirements.
- Research & Advisory: Conduct legal research on laws, regulations, and case law to support business operations.
- Audit & Governance: Participate in internal/external audits and maintain trackers to monitor compliance.
- Innovation: Contribute to automation and process-improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional legal tasks as required.
Eligibility
- Education: Law degree from a reputed institution (CS qualification is a plus).
- Experience: 8–12 years of post-qualification experience, ideally in a multinational or corporate legal environment.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in commercial, vendor, real estate, and technology contracts.
- Sound knowledge of corporate, compliance, and employment laws across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
