Details of the Job/Internship
Adani Power Limited is hiring a Legal Manager – Litigation with a minimum of 6 years of experience to support the organization’s litigation and regulatory matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil, commercial, and non-regulatory litigation involving the company.
- Draft, review, and approve pleadings, responses, affidavits, written statements, and other legal documents.
- Handle notice management by drafting initial legal notices and coordinating with business teams to gather factual information.
- Oversee regulatory litigation matters, including show-cause notices, adjudication proceedings, and appeals.
- Assess the implications of regulatory and non-regulatory litigation outcomes and advise on appellate actions or settlements.
- Coordinate with external counsel and assist in preparing case strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure timely filing of cases, responses, appeals, and compliance with procedural requirements.
- Provide legal opinions and advisory support to internal business teams.
- Liaise with government authorities, regulators, courts, and judicial bodies when required.
- Track regulatory developments and advise teams on compliance implications.
- Maintain documentation of all legal proceedings and support law firms with relevant information and insights.
- Conduct legal research using technology platforms and assist in implementing legal technology solutions.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
- Bar Council of India accreditation is optional.
- Additional qualifications or certifications in Corporate Law or M&A are preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of legal experience, including handling litigation in a corporate environment.
- Experience in the energy sector and knowledge of industry-specific laws and regulations is preferred.
