Details of the Job/Internship
PhonePe is hiring an Assistant Manager – Litigation with 6–8 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage litigation across Consumer Forums, District Courts, High Courts, and Tribunals.
- Draft and review legal documents including complaints, suits, affidavits, writs, replies, and appeals.
- Handle responses to notices from statutory authorities and law enforcement.
- Assist in arbitration and court proceedings and brief external counsels.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal opinions.
- Maintain MIS for all litigation involving the company and its employees.
- Follow up on case updates with advocates and internal legal teams.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized institution.
- 6–8 years of post-qualification experience in managing litigation.
- Strong knowledge of procedural and substantive laws.
- Proficient in English and Hindi (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
