Details of the Job/Internship
CoinSwitch is hiring an experienced Nodal Officer to join its Legal Litigation team. The role serves as the primary contact for law enforcement agencies, manages regulatory requests, monitors corporate security, and ensures compliance while safeguarding the company’s reputation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies (LEAs) and respond to notices under CrPC, PMLA, IT Act, and other applicable laws.
- Build and maintain relationships with authorities, especially in Karnataka.
- Monitor and address risks such as fraud, fake websites, impersonation, vandalism, and corporate espionage.
- Ensure asset protection, recovery, and reputation management for the company and key personnel.
- Guide internal teams (Customer Support, Operations, Legal) on LEA escalations.
- Lead emergency and crisis response initiatives.
- Extract and analyze data from internal systems to respond to regulatory and LEA requests.
Eligibility
- 8–10 years of experience in nodal/legal enforcement roles (preferably fintech, banking, telecom, or e-commerce).
- Strong knowledge of BNS, BNSS, PMLA, and IT Act.
- Established rapport with law enforcement agencies.
- Proficiency in Kannada and English (mandatory).
- LL.B. degree desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong leadership, crisis management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
