Details of the Job/Internship
PhonePe Limited is hiring an Associate Manager – Legal (Litigation) with 6–8 years of experience to join its legal team in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage litigation cases across Consumer Forums, District Courts, High Courts, and Tribunals.
- Draft and review legal documents such as complaints, suits, writs, appeals, and agreements.
- Prepare responses to legal notices from advocates, law enforcement agencies, and regulators.
- Appear before courts and tribunals and coordinate arbitration proceedings.
- Brief and assist external counsels for litigation and legal representation.
- Conduct legal research and draft opinions on complex legal issues.
- Maintain litigation MIS and follow up with advocates on ongoing cases.
- Support business units in dispute resolution and risk assessment.
Eligibility
- LLB from a recognized institution (mandatory).
- 6–8 years of post-qualification experience in litigation management.
- Strong knowledge of substantive and procedural laws (Civil, Criminal, Consumer, and Commercial).
- Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi (reading and writing).
