Details of the Job/Internship
Alpha Partners is hiring an Associate Partner with 7–9+ years of PQE to lead its Corporate, M&A, Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Investment practice.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex domestic and cross-border transactions.
- Handle public and private M&A transactions.
- Advise on private equity and venture capital investments.
- Manage strategic investments, exits, restructurings, joint ventures, and shareholder arrangements.
- Act as the transaction lead overseeing structuring, negotiations, documentation, and closing.
- Ensure high-quality execution with strong focus on client and firm interests.
- Deliver projects with speed and efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing legal teams.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a reputed law school in India or overseas.
- Enrollment with the Bar Council of India or relevant jurisdiction.
- 7–9+ years of PQE with a top-tier or well-regarded law firm.
- Strong expertise in M&A, PE–VC, investments, and corporate advisory.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end transactions.
- Prior experience in team leadership and client relationship management.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, drafting, and structuring skills.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
