Details of the Job/Internship
AQUILAW is hiring an Associate Partner – Corporate & M&A Team with 10–15 years of experience to join their offices in Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, or Bhubaneswar.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 4–6 practitioners for corporate transactions.
- Report to the Practice Head and Managing Partner.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities.
- Provide strategic legal advice on corporate governance and regulatory matters.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on legal and industry developments.
- Conduct legal training sessions and maintain transaction documentation.
- Oversee billing and recovery processes.
- Represent the firm at industry forums and conferences.
Eligibility
- Qualified LLB or LLM from a premier Indian or international law school.
- 10–15 years of experience in M&A, PE/VC transactions with a reputed law firm.
- Strong independent judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
