Saikrishna & Associates is hiring an Associate to join their Patent Litigation team in New Delhi. The role involves supporting patent enforcement and defense, drafting legal documents, conducting research, and assisting in hearings.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing patents, prior art, and technical documents to assess case strength.
- Draft legal memos, notices, responses, pleadings, applications, and submissions.
- Conduct legal research and case law analysis on patent, IP, and technology-related issues.
- Support senior attorneys during hearings and case preparation.
- Manage filing processes and timelines before Delhi High Court and coordinate with local counsels as needed.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a recognized Indian university.
- Enrollment with the Bar Council of India.
- 0–2 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in patent litigation.
- Understanding of patent law and litigation procedures.
- Knowledge of court filing processes and registry practices in Delhi High Court.
- Strong drafting, research, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously.
- Initiative, ownership, and accountability for assigned work.
- Science degree is optional but considered an advantage.
