Details of the Job/Internship

K.R. Mangalam University is hiring an Assistant / Associate Professor specializing in Competition Law to join their office in Gurugram.

Role and Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lectures on Competition Law, Consumer Protection Law, and related commercial subjects.
• Implement innovative teaching methodologies, including Project-Based Learning (PBL) and simulation exercises.
• Mentor students for national and international Moot Court competitions focusing on trade and corporate law.
• Maintain a robust research agenda with regular publications in Scopus-indexed or UGC-CARE listed journals.
• Explore competition policy evolution in the context of global digital markets and emerging technologies.
• Review and update the Competition Law syllabus to align with CCI decisions and market trends.
• Design elective courses or certificate programs focused on anti-competitive agreements and abuse of dominance.
• Actively participate in departmental committees and faculty development programs.
• Liaise with legal practitioners and industry experts to facilitate internships and placement opportunities.

Eligibility

• LL.M. with a specialization in Competition Law, Corporate Law, or Commercial Law.
• Ph.D. in Law (completed or in final stages) is highly preferred.
• Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) or equivalent regulatory standards.
• In-depth knowledge of the Competition Act, 2002, and its subsequent amendments.
• Familiarity with international frameworks such as EU Competition Law and US Antitrust Laws.
• Prior university-level teaching experience or significant practice experience in competition litigation.
