Amity University Jharkhand is hiring an Associate Professor of Law for its campus in Ranchi. The role involves teaching, research, academic leadership, and professional engagement.
Role and Responsibilities
- Deliver and design courses across specialized areas of law.
- Develop, update, and evaluate course materials to maintain academic excellence.
- Mentor students on academic performance, research work, and career planning.
- Conduct original legal research leading to peer-reviewed publications, books, and policy reports.
- Present research findings at national and international conferences.
- Pursue research funding and collaborate on interdisciplinary projects.
- Serve on departmental and university committees to support academic governance.
- Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation processes, and program improvement.
- Engage in community outreach and strengthen partnerships with legal institutions.
- Provide expert consultation in specialized areas of law.
- Build relationships with courts, law firms, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.
Eligibility
- PhD in Law.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the university or law school level.
- Proven record of scholarly publications in reputable legal journals or academic presses.
- Experience supervising student research and contributing to curriculum development.
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Commitment to diversity, ethics, and inclusive pedagogy.
