Details of the Job/Internship
Chitkara University is hiring an Associate Professor of Law for Chitkara Law School to join their campus in Rajpura. The role involves academic leadership, strengthening teaching and learning processes, leading academic and research initiatives, and contributing to the Law School’s academic excellence. The position also requires building strong linkages with industry and academia, supporting accreditation and ranking processes such as NAAC and NIRF, and contributing to curriculum development and institutional quality initiatives.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide academic leadership to bring the Law School at par with leading global institutions.
- Set academic goals and build cohesive academic teams.
- Establish and promote a culture of academic excellence.
- Upgrade teaching and learning processes.
- Lead academic and research initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong linkages with industry and academia.
- Support accreditation and ranking processes.
- Contribute to curriculum development, quality assessment, compliance, and faculty development.
Eligibility
- LLB, LLM, and Ph.D. in Law.
- NET qualification is advantageous.
- Ph.D. from a reputed university in India or abroad.
- Minimum of 10–15 years of overall work experience in legal education.
- Experience in facilitating accreditation and rankings with external bodies such as NAAC and NIRF.
- Strong academic credentials with notable academic achievements.
- Leadership and senior-level administrative skills in curriculum development, institutional quality assessment, compliance, and faculty development.
- Strong industry and academic linkages.
