Details of the Job/Internship
Chitkara University is hiring an Associate Professor of Law for Chitkara Law School at its Rajpura campus. The candidate should be a distinguished academician capable of bringing the Law School at par with leading global institutions, leading academic and research initiatives, upgrading teaching-learning processes, and fostering a culture of academic excellence. The role requires leadership in setting academic goals, building cohesive teams, facilitating accreditation and rankings with bodies such as NAAC and NIRF, and strengthening industry and academic linkages.
Role and Responsibilities
- Providing academic leadership and setting academic goals.
- Building cohesive teams and establishing a culture of academic excellence.
- Upgrading teaching-learning processes and leading academic and research initiatives.
- Facilitating accreditation and rankings processes.
- Strengthening industry and academic linkages.
Eligibility
- LL.B., LL.M., and Ph.D. in Law.
- NET qualification is advantageous.
- Ph.D. from a reputed university in India or abroad.
- Minimum 10–15 years of overall work experience in legal education.
- Experience in facilitating accreditation and rankings with external bodies such as NAAC and NIRF.
- Strong industry and academic network.
- Effective senior-level administrative skills with expertise in curriculum development, institutional quality assessment, compliance, and faculty development.
