Details of the Job/Internship
Eshwars, Advocates is looking for an Associate with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in real estate law to join our Real Estate Practice in Chennai.
This role offers the opportunity to handle end-to-end real estate transactions — from documentation and due diligence to execution — while providing strategic legal advice to a diverse client base.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate leases, sale deeds, joint development agreements, and related contracts.
- Conduct title due diligence and manage commercial real estate transactions through to closure.
- Advise on structuring and executing real estate development projects.
- Provide guidance on land acquisition, project approvals, and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with clients to deliver tailored, business-focused legal solutions.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognised university with strong academic credentials.
- Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience in real estate law (commercial and/or residential).
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and client-focused.
