Details of the Job/Internship
Alba Law Offices is hiring a Real Estate Associate with 3 years of experience to join their office in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive title due diligence for both land and built-up assets.
- Review ownership records, encumbrances, land use, approvals, and ongoing litigation.
- Prepare detailed legal risk reports with actionable recommendations for clients.
- Draft and vet property documents, including Lease Deeds, Sale Deeds, Agreements to Sell, and Joint Development Agreements.
- Advise on stamp duty, property registration, and complex title-related matters.
- Represent clients in Arbitration, District Courts, and the High Court regarding land acquisition matters.
- Defend land acquisitions and address the adequacy of compensation offered to landowners.
Eligibility
- Degree in Law (LL.B.).
- Exactly 3 years of post-qualification experience specializing in real estate.
- Strong knowledge of property laws, registration procedures, and stamp duty regulations.
- Experience in representing clients before judicial and quasi-judicial bodies.
