Details of the Job/Internship
ALMT Legal is hiring an Associate with 2–5 years of experience to join its growing Real Estate practice in Bangalore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive real estate title due diligence for urban and agricultural land.
- Draft, review, and manage a high volume of legal documentation, including Sale Deeds and Lease Agreements.
- Oversee the practical aspects of the property registration process at Sub-Registrar offices.
- Analyze historical land records, mutation entries, and encumbrance certificates.
- Coordinate with clients and statutory authorities to ensure smooth transaction closures.
- Provide clear legal opinions on property marketability and potential title risks.
- Support the senior partners in building and advancing the firm’s real estate portfolio.
Eligibility
- 2–5 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in real estate law.
- Strong expertise in Real Estate Title Due Diligence.
- Language Requirement: Mandatory fluency in English and Kannada (Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
- Practical experience with the property registration framework in Karnataka.
- Excellent drafting skills and the ability to manage complex legal documentation.
- Motivated mindset with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
