Details of the Job/Internship
Epiq is hiring an Associate Review Manager (Document Review) with over 6 years of experience to join their office in Hyderabad. The role involves project management and consultation on managed document review projects for corporations and law firms, ensuring workflow efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during managed document review projects.
- Conduct project design meetings and develop efficient workflows.
- Manage client expectations regarding deliverables and timelines.
- Draft workflow protocols and training guidelines.
- Implement workflows within document review platforms.
- Use structured and conceptual analytics to improve review productivity.
- Consult on the application of AI in document review.
- Execute quality control and assurance best practices.
- Monitor and report daily progress, productivity, and budget performance.
- Lead, motivate, and train review teams, including lawyers and non-lawyers.
- Coordinate case team quality control and disclosure set preparation.
- Generate and deliver additional deliverables such as privilege logs.
Eligibility
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and valid/active state bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction.
- Legal qualification and practice in at least one jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in document review, including 2+ years handling antitrust matters.
- At least 2 years of project management experience within an eDiscovery environment (law firm or vendor preferred).
- Extensive experience with document review databases, including Relativity.
- Familiarity with statistical sampling, email threading, near duplicate identification, clustering, and predictive coding.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, issue spotting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be comfortable working night shifts to align with U.S. business hours.
