Details of the Job/Internship

Gravitas Legal is hiring a Associate/Senior Associate - Litigation with 2-4 years of experience to join their office in Delhi. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Represent clients in matters relating to insolvency, bankruptcy, liquidation, and complex commercial disputes.
• Draft and review a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, petitions, affidavits, legal notices, and advisory opinions.
• Provide strategic legal counsel by analyzing case facts, identifying risks, and offering actionable, client-focused solutions.
• Appear before various courts, tribunals (such as NCLT/NCLAT), and quasi-judicial forums; manage hearings, arguments, and procedural formalities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless case preparation and client servicing.

Eligibility

• Experience & Expertise
• PQE: 2–4 years of relevant post-qualification experience as a practicing lawyer.
• Specialization Preferred:
• Insolvency & Bankruptcy Law (e.g., IBC proceedings, corporate restructuring, liquidation).
• Commercial Disputes (e.g., breach of contract, debt recovery, shareholder disputes).
• Core Legal Skills
• Drafting Excellence: Strong ability to draft clear, well-structured legal documents and court submissions.
• Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and the ability to convert legal knowledge into practical business strategies.
• Courtroom Confidence: Comfortable presenting arguments, engaging with the Bench, and handling procedural and substantive aspects of litigation.
• Professional Attributes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage client expectations and relationships.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
• Attention to detail, integrity, and a results-driven mindset.
