Details of the Job/Internship
Areness is hiring Associate/Sr. Associate for Banking and Finance with the experience of 5 years to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting of pleadings, deeds, applications, etc.
- Devising legal strategies.
- Arguments, appearance and cross examination before Courts and Tribunals across India.
- Legal Research.
- Engaging and briefing Senior Advocates.
- Participating in team building.
- Collaborating with cross functional teams as well as other practice areas.
- Maintaining MIS of records and finance.
- Coordination with team of Senior Associates, Associates, Trainees, Articles and Paralegal.
- Liaison with Banks and advisory to Banks and Finance Companies.
- Legal Opinions in respect of Title Search, Encumbrances, etc.
Eligibility
- Bachelors/ Masters in Law with atleast 5 years experience in chamber/ law firm.
- Experience of independent appearance before Courts/ Tribunals at Delhi.
- In-depth knowledge of Procedural laws and court practice.
- Proficient research skills and IT skills.
- Knowledge of research tools such as Manupatra, SCC Online.
- Proficient drafting skills are must.
- Skill to research case-laws, facts and material facts till desired results met.
- Ability to take onus and end to end responsibility of matters and clients.
- Knack of keeping updated with latest case laws, amendments, government policies, etc.
- Eye for minute details.
- Out of the box thinking approach to devise strategies in complex legal matters.
- Excellent command over language.
- Excellent inter-personal skills.
- Confidence and ability to independent handle matters.
- Zeal to learn and grow.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
