Details of the Job/Internship

Anoma Legal is hiring an Associate (PQE: 0–2 years) in Structured Debt and Real Estate to join its office in the Bangalore Urban district. The role includes providing legal support in real estate due diligence, documentation, drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and agreements, conducting legal research, and developing strategies for acquiring large-scale real estate projects. The role also involves advising on regulatory compliance related to acquisition and leasing of immovable property and preparing related documentation.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct real estate due diligence and prepare related documentation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
• Conduct legal research and assist in preparing strategies for acquisition of large-scale real estate projects.
• Advise on regulatory compliance for acquisition and leasing of immovable property.
• Prepare legal documentation related to leasing and other real estate transactions.

Eligibility

• Proficiency in real estate due diligence, documentation, drafting, contract review, and negotiation.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of corporate law, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with working knowledge of Kannada and English.
• Ability to solve complex legal problems and provide practical legal advice.
• Experience in real estate and contract negotiations is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law with a valid licence to practise in India.
• Work experience: 0 to 2 years.
