Details of the Job/Internship

Metalegal Advocates is hiring an Associate with 2–3 years of experience to join their Tax Litigation & Advisory vertical in New Delhi. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle Income Tax and GST litigation, including assessments and appeals.
• Draft legal opinions, advisory notes, appeals, and formal representations.
• Manage direct communication with clients and coordination with tax authorities and tribunals.
• Support regulatory proceedings, audits, and investigations.
• Supervise documentation workflows and provide guidance to junior team members.
• Contribute to the firm's internal research repositories and knowledge initiatives.

Eligibility

• Qualification: Must be a qualified Advocate (LL.B.) enrolled with the Bar Council of India OR a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Experience: 2–3 years of relevant post-qualification experience (PQE) in taxation.
