Details of the Job/Internship
Peritum Partners is hiring for the position of Associate - Technology and Business Lawyer with 2-4 years of experience to join them in their Chennai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Work with clients to understand their business objectives and provide practical, strategic and well thought out legal solutions.
- Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial and technology-focused agreements, such as SaaS documentation, licensing and assignment agreements, terms of service, privacy policies, master service agreements (MSAs) and service level agreements (SLAs), and purchase & sale agreements (just to name a few).
- Provide comprehensive legal support to technology companies across industries, including businesses focusing on robotics, AI/ML, crypto & blockchain, IoT, fintech and data-intensive businesses.
- Conduct legal research on emerging technology laws and regulations to contribute to the firm's thought leadership initiatives through research and content creation.
- Participate in speaking engagements and knowledge-sharing session.
Eligibility
- Enrolled advocate.
- 2-4 years of experience (exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered).
- Strong academic background in law.
- Experience in working with technology companies or other IP-intensive businesses.
