NAB is hiring for the position of Associate Vice President with 9+ years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of Information Technology agreements, including:
- Software Development & Support Contracts
- Open Source Licensing Agreements
- SaaS & IaaS Agreements
- Cloud Services, Networking & Infrastructure Contracts
- IT Security & Outsourcing Agreements
- Hardware Procurement Agreements
- Emerging tech agreements (Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence)
- Proof-of-Concept (PoC) Arrangements
- Lead the contract review process for all IT-related engagements, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable legal standards.
- Train and support legal teams in the efficient use of legal information sources for research and contract analysis.
- Provide sound legal guidance based on research, statutory interpretation, and case law across relevant jurisdictions.
- Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills to provide proactive legal advice and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders across global regions, particularly in Australia and Europe.
- Demonstrate strong customer-centric focus and contribute to business strategy through legal insight.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree is essential.
- 9+ years of legal experience, including significant experience with IT contracts and global regulatory compliance.
- Proven team leadership skills, including experience in establishing and managing high-performing legal teams.
- Strong understanding of data protection laws and regulatory frameworks in Australia and Europe.
- Exceptional contract drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal databases, and customer request management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain a strategic, customer-first mindset.
