Details of the Job/Internship

Welspun is looking for a candidate for the position of Assistant Vice President.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting, vetting and negotiating Business Agreements, Supply Chain Documentation, Distribution, Agency and Franchisee Contracts, Structuring transactions as per business requirements;
• Initiate / Defend and pursue Legal Proceedings including briefing external Legal Counsels, prepare Case for Opinions, settling Plaints, Written Statements, Writ Petitions etc. Proficiency in handling recovery proceedings matters.
• Experience in handling Counterfeit matters, search and seizure actions under IPR laws and criminal proceedings.
• Undertake proactive measures to pre-empt and mitigate legal risks, set-up relevant frame works, policies, and review implementation with the leadership team; and
• Support in policy advocacy, providing inputs / avise on legal and regulatory matters to various functions.

Eligibility

• Qualification: LL.M / LL.B from reputed Institution in India.
• Experience: At least 15 years, with a large manufacturing corporate based in India. 

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
