Details of the Job/Internship
Otis is hiring an Associate, Contract with 5 years of experience to support contract operations across various global regions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Contract Review & Analysis: Manage and monitor Otis contracts, providing expert analysis and negotiation guidance to various business units.
- Execution Oversight: Follow a strict "Contract Execution Checklist" to ensure documents are ready for final signatory authority.
- Risk Mitigation: Flag non-conforming sections that deviate from the company framework and collaborate with departments to resolve these issues.
- Stakeholder Management: Work with senior leadership and delivery teams to expedite the execution of high-priority contractual documents.
- Lifecycle Management: Follow up to secure final client-signed copies and archive them on the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform.
- Reporting: Track and report operational metrics related to the contract review process on a continuous basis.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
- 5 years of experience in commercial contract review, analysis, and negotiation.
- Strong understanding of general contracting principles and the ability to interpret complex legal language.
- Proficiency in digital collaboration tools including MS Office, Webex, and CLM platforms.
- Preferred: Additional certification in Contract Management.
- Excellent writing ability and interpersonal skills to work with diverse global teams.
