Details of the Job/Internship
UnitedLex is hiring an Associate – Trademark Paralegal to support IP transactional work and trademark formalities for its Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist IP lawyers in managing and preparing IP-related agreements and conducting due diligence.
- Generate IP reports from Anaqua and commercial/public databases.
- Conduct research on IP use, competitor analysis, and data gaps.
- Draft and maintain IP agreements including licenses and assignments.
- Organize and update IP documents in Haleon systems and Anaqua.
- Communicate with attorneys and third parties to coordinate IP transactions.
- Support trademark transactional tasks like filings, ownership changes, and assignments.
- Review trademark-related correspondence and manage prosecution deadlines.
- Support renewals, docketing, licensing, and PoA management.
- Conduct daily quality assurance for trademark filings and portfolio audits.
- Monitor domain name filings and manage renewals.
Eligibility
- Legal background with relevant IP and trademark knowledge.
- Experience with Anaqua and trademark formalities preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
