A Agarwalla & Co. is hiring an Associate with 0–3 years of experience to join their office in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct exhaustive legal research and prepare detailed briefs for a variety of practice areas.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, legal notices, and pleadings.
- Attend court proceedings and assist senior advocates in representing clients.
- Manage legal documentation and maintain meticulous records for ongoing cases.
- Liaise directly with clients to gather facts, provide updates, and manage expectations.
- Ensure all legal procedures and filings comply with current regulations and judicial protocols.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop case strategies and prepare for arguments.
Eligibility
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution; an LLM is considered an advantage.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in legal writing, drafting, and regulatory compliance practices.
- Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks efficiently.
- Communication: Effective interpersonal and presentation skills for client interaction and court appearances.
- Experience: Prior experience in a law firm or a similar legal role is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates with strong academic backgrounds.
