This chamber operates at the highest levels of the Indian judiciary, handling complex matters across constitutional, civil, and criminal law.
Details of the Job/Internship
Senior Advocate Pijush Kanti Roy is seeking to induct an Associate with 1–3 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) to support his expanding chamber starting July 2026.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct high-level legal research on complex points of law for Supreme Court and High Court matters.
- Draft various legal documents, including Special Leave Petitions (SLPs), Writ Petitions, and applications.
- Make regular appearances before the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, and District Courts/Tribunals.
- Manage the filing process and ensure all procedural requirements of the Delhi-based registries are met.
- Assist the Senior Advocate in case briefings and preparation for oral arguments.
- Coordinate with briefing solicitors and clients to streamline case documentation.
- Maintain an organized record of ongoing litigation and judicial precedents.
Eligibility
- Experience: 1–3 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in litigation.
- Education: LL.B. degree; an LL.M. from India or abroad is highly preferred and adds significant weight to the application.
- Candidates currently finishing their LLM (graduating June/July 2026) are encouraged to apply.
- Proven skills in drafting, researching, and a sound understanding of Delhi court procedures.
- Excellent command of English and strong interpersonal skills.
