The All India Digital Cable Federation (AIDCF) is India’s apex body for Digital Multi-System Operators (MSOs). It represents the interests of the digital cable industry, working closely with government ministries, regulators, and industry stakeholders. AIDCF plays a key role in shaping policy and regulatory frameworks while strengthening member representation at the national level.
Details of the Job/Internship
All India Digital Cable Federation (AIDCF) is hiring an Associate – Legal and Policy Affairs with 5–8 years of experience to join their office in Delhi NCR (Hybrid).
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality policy briefs, consultation responses, and position papers.
- Develop and present AIDCF’s positions on digital cable industry issues.
- Represent AIDCF in consultations, forums, and meetings with ministries, regulators, and industry bodies.
- Provide legal insights on broadcasting and digital cable regulations, ensuring compliance.
- Track legislative, regulatory, and market developments and prepare actionable inputs.
- Collaborate with the Secretary General and senior leadership on industry strategy and member representation.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated course) from a recognized university.
- 5–8 years of experience in legal, policy, and regulatory affairs (experience in broadcasting, telecom, or media preferred).
- Proven ability in policy research, advocacy, and drafting.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and representation experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
