Details of the Job/Internship

Amicus Legal is hiring an Associate – Dispute Resolution with experience of 2–3 years to join their team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage tender disputes, including eligibility and disqualification challenges.
• Handle contractual disputes involving interpretation, claims, and enforcement.
• Draft and appear in matters under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
• Assist in litigation before High Courts, Commercial Courts, and Arbitral Tribunals.
• Advise clients on risk mitigation and dispute strategies.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized university.
• 2–3 years of post-qualification experience in dispute resolution.
• Preferred exposure to sectors such as power, roads, railways, sewerage, water, or renewable energy.
• Strong understanding of the Indian Contract Act, 1872, Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, and Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.
• Excellent drafting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under tight timelines on high-value matters.
