Details of the Job/Internship

AMS Legal Advocates and Solicitors is hiring an Associate with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in litigation practice to join their office in Chennai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft legal documents with clarity, precision, and strategic intent.
• Appear in court, draft and argue cases at High Court and Trial Court levels.
• Conduct thorough legal research and utilise databases such as SCC Online and Manupatra.
• Maintain a proactive approach and work independently to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with clients, investigators, external counsel, and manage procedural compliance.
• Support team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognised law school or university.
• LL.M. preferred, but optional.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in litigation.
• Proficiency in English and Tamil.

Salary/Stipend
