Details of the Job/Internship
Anand and Anand is hiring a Litigation Associate with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in IP litigation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle intellectual property litigation relating to trademarks, copyrights, patents, and designs.
- Draft and review pleadings, including plaints, written statements, applications, affidavits, rejoinders, and appeals.
- Represent clients and assist senior lawyers before District Courts, High Courts, and IP offices or tribunals.
- Conduct legal research, case law analysis, and prepare briefs and hearing notes.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams on litigation strategy and case updates.
- Manage filings, hearings, and procedural compliance.
- Assist with enforcement actions, injunctions, and opposition or rectification proceedings.
Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in intellectual property litigation.
- LL.B. from a National Law University or a tier-1 law school is preferred.
- Strong drafting, research, and analytical capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with court appearances and litigation procedures.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Strong communication and client-handling skills.
