Details of the Job/Internship

AQUILAW is hiring an Associate to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• The Associate will be responsible for conducting legal research, independently handling litigation and arbitration matters, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and providing legal advice across various practice areas.
• The role includes liaising with clients, preparing case briefs, and representing the firm in legal proceedings. Additionally, the Associate will collaborate with other team members to develop strategies for client cases and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Eligibility

• Experience in legal research, drafting, and reviewing legal documents.
• Strong understanding of civil procedures, and commercial law, dispute resolution, and working knowledge of criminal litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) and admission to the Bar Council.
• Experience in data privacy and GST/Indirect Tax law is a plus.
• Proven track record of handling client communication and case management.

Salary/Stipend
