Role and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Prosecute trademark applications from searches (with opinion) till registration; post registration procedures; oppositions and rectifications.
• Undertake research and analysis.
• Manage Trademark Portfolio; docketing and routine follow ups with clients.
• Timely completion of work / deliverables assigned by Seniors with 100% accuracy.
• Work as a Team with team members.

Eligibility

Mandatory Experience:

• Handling trademark applications from searches (with opinion) till registration; post registration procedures; oppositions and rectifications.
• Managing trademark portfolios, docketing, and routine client follow-ups.
• Providing opinions on non-disputed trademark matters.
• Experience of providing opinion on contentious / dispute matters involving trademarks.
• Attending official hearings at the Trademark Registry for both application and opposition proceedings.
• Monitoring and following up with Trademark Registries for requests filed during pre-registration and post-registration stages.

Desirable Experience:

• Handling Domain Dispute matters under INDRP and UDRP.
• Managing Copyright Registration.
• Providing opinion on contentious domain ad copyright infringement issues.
• Experience in prosecuting Industrial Designs.
