Details of the Job/Internship

Avyaan Legal is hiring an Associate for a full-time, on-site role at its Mumbai office. The position involves legal research, drafting and review of contracts, agreements, and pleadings, handling matters across civil, commercial, and corporate law, attending court proceedings, providing legal advisory services, liaising with clients, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and case law analysis.
• Draft, review, and finalise contracts, agreements, and pleadings.
• Handle civil, commercial, and corporate law matters.
• Attend court proceedings and assist in litigation strategy.
• Provide strategic legal advisory services to clients.
• Coordinate with clients to understand legal requirements and business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Eligibility

• Law degree (LLB or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• Enrollment with the Bar Council of India.
• Strong skills in legal research, case law analysis, and legal drafting.
• Experience in civil and commercial litigation, contract law, and corporate advisory.
• Expertise in negotiation, dispute resolution, and arbitration.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Prior litigation experience before Indian courts is preferred.
• Proficiency in legal drafting software and tools is an advantage.

Salary/Stipend
