Details of the Job/Internship

Bhuta Shah & Co LLP is hiring an associate to join them in Mumbai office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle assignments under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, including Corporate Insolvency Resolution Processes (CIRP) and Liquidation proceedings.
• Draft, review and strategise Resolution Plans in compliance with IBC.
• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate and commercial agreements such as Shareholders' Agreements (SHA), Share Subscription Agreements (SSA), Master Services Agreements (MSA), Share Purchase Agreements (SPA), Talent Agreements, etc.
• Assist in legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and transaction structuring.

Eligibility

• LLB (mandatory).
• Company Secretary (CS) qualification or pursuing CS will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of corporate laws and the IBC framework.
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
• Excellent research, communication, and negotiation skills.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
